Ingredients for Almond Joy Chocolate Bark

  • Dark Chocolate
  • 1/2 cup sliced almonds
  • Shredded Coconut

How to Make Almond Joy Chocolate Bark

  1. Melt 12 ounces of dark chocolate chips over very low heat in a double boiler or microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
  2. Line an 8x8 inch baking dish with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on the sides to lift the bark out easily.
  3. Pour the melted chocolate into the prepared baking dish.
  4. Evenly scatter 1/2 cup sliced almonds and 3 tablespoons of sweetened, shredded coconut flakes over the chocolate.
  5. Using a spatula, gently spread the mixture evenly to about 1/4 inch thickness.
  6. Sprinkle the remaining 1 tablespoon of sweetened, shredded coconut flakes over the top.
  7. Place the baking dish in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, or until the chocolate is completely set.
  8. Once set, lift the bark from the baking dish using the parchment paper overhang.
  9. Break the bark into square pieces and serve. Enjoy!

Chef's Tip for Extra Flavor

Small additions can make a big impact! Try a sprinkle of fresh herbs, a dash of your favorite spice blend, or a squeeze of citrus just before serving to really enhance the flavors of your dish.
