How to Make Baked Pork Chops And Apples
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Peel, core, and slice 2 pounds of apples (such as Honeycrisp or Granny Smith) into 1/2-inch thick slices.
- Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in an oven-safe skillet (or baking dish) over medium-high heat.
- Season 4 bone-in pork chops (about 1 inch thick) with salt and pepper. Brown the pork chops for 2-3 minutes per side in the melted butter.
- In a small bowl, mix 1/4 cup packed brown sugar and 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon.
- Arrange the apple slices in the bottom of the skillet or baking dish.
