How to Make Beer Pork Chops
- In a large bowl, whisk together 1 cup of beer, 1/4 cup soy sauce, 2 tablespoons brown sugar, 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, 1 teaspoon onion powder, and 1/2 teaspoon black pepper.
- Season 4 bone-in pork chops (about 1 inch thick) with salt and pepper.
- Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the pork chops for 2-3 minutes per side, until browned.
- Add 8 ounces of sliced cremini mushrooms to the skillet and cook for 5 minutes, until softened.
- Pour the beer mixture over the pork chops and mushrooms.
- Transfer the skillet to a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C).
