How to Make Candy Bar Squares

  1. Line an 8x8 inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on the sides for easy removal.
  2. In a large saucepan over medium heat, melt butter and sugar. Stir constantly until smooth and melted.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in peanut butter until fully combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine milk chocolate chips, semi-sweet chocolate chips and butterscotch chips. Add the melted butter mixture to the chocolate chips and stir until the chips are melted and the mixture is smooth.
  5. Stir in Rice Krispies cereal and crushed pretzels until evenly coated.
  6. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking pan and press firmly and evenly into the pan.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or until firm.
  8. Lift the candy bar squares out of the pan using the parchment paper overhang. Cut into squares and serve.
