How to Make Hershey S Chocolate Cherry Fudge

  1. Line an 8-inch square baking pan with foil, leaving an overhang on the sides for easy removal.
  2. Gently press chopped cherries between layers of paper towels to remove excess moisture.
  3. In a medium microwave-safe bowl, melt 1 cup (2 sticks) of unsalted butter on high for 1 minute, or until melted. Stir until smooth.
  4. Add 3 cups powdered sugar and ¾ cup unsweetened cocoa powder to the melted butter. Pour in 1 (12-ounce) can of evaporated milk.
  5. Stir until the mixture is completely smooth and well combined.
  6. Microwave on high for 1 ½ minutes, then stir vigorously.
