How to Make Homemade Pizza

  1. Preheat oven to 450°F (232°C) and move oven rack to the lowest position.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, dissolve 2 ¼ teaspoons of active dry yeast and 1 teaspoon of sugar in 1 cup (240ml) of warm water (105-115°F).
  3. Let stand for 10 minutes until foamy.
