How to Make Mixed Berry Iced Tea

  1. Place two black tea bags and one hibiscus tea bag in a large heatproof pitcher.
  2. In a 4-quart saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a rolling boil.
  3. Carefully pour the boiling water over the tea bags in the pitcher. Steep for 10 minutes.
  4. Remove the tea bags and discard.
  5. Let the tea cool to room temperature. Then, cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or until thoroughly chilled.
  6. Once chilled, stir in 1/2 cup of granulated sugar (or to taste) and the juice of 2 lemons.
  7. Add 2 cups of mixed fresh berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, etc.), and 4-6 lemon slices to the pitcher.
  8. Fill glasses with ice and pour the iced tea over the ice. Garnish with extra berries and lemon slices if desired.
