Cómo preparar Apple Apricot Pork Chops Crock Pot

  1. In your crock-pot, combine 4 boneless pork chops (1 inch thick), 1 large apple (peeled, cored, and diced), 1 cup dried apricots (chopped), 1/2 cup chicken broth, 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar, 2 tablespoons brown sugar, 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon, 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg, 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves, salt and pepper to taste.
  2. Cover and cook on low for 7-9 hours, or until the pork chops are fork-tender.
  3. About 30 minutes before serving, carefully remove the pork chops from the crock-pot and set aside. Pour the cooking liquid into a separate bowl, allowing it to cool slightly.
  4. Skim off excess fat from the cooking liquid.
  5. In a small bowl, whisk together 2 tablespoons of cornstarch with 2 tablespoons of cold water to create a slurry.
  6. Gradually whisk the cornstarch slurry into the cooking liquid in the bowl. Return the liquid to the crock-pot.
  7. Stir in the pork chops and cook on low for another 10-15 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened to your desired consistency.
  8. Serve the Apple Apricot Pork Chops hot, over rice, mashed potatoes, or your favorite side dish.
