Cómo preparar Baked Pate

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a food processor, combine 1 cup cooked chicken, 1 cup cooked veal, 2 cloves garlic, and 1/4 cup finely chopped shallot. Process until finely ground.
  3. Add 1/2 cup heavy cream, 1/4 cup finely chopped fresh parsley, 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard, 1 teaspoon salt, and 1/2 teaspoon black pepper. Process until smooth and well combined.

  5. Place 2 fresh bay leaves in the bottom of a 2-cup oven-safe ramekin or terrine.
  6. Pour the pâté mixture into the ramekin. Arrange 2 additional bay leaves on top.
  7. Bake for 40-50 minutes, or until the pâté is set, pulls away from the sides, and is nicely browned on top.
  8. Remove from oven and let cool completely.
  9. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving. Remove bay leaves before serving (optional - they may be left on as a garnish).
