  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Grease and flour a 10-inch springform pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and baking soda. Set aside.

  6. Gently arrange the halved grapes over the top of the batter.
  7. Bake for 20 minutes.
  8. Remove the cake from the oven and evenly dot the top with the melted butter and sprinkle with the remaining 2 tablespoons of sugar.
  9. Return to the oven and bake for another 20-25 minutes, or until a wooden skewer inserted into the center comes out clean and the cake is golden brown.
