Como fazer Corn Flake Tart

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F/Gas Mark 4).
  2. Grease and line a 20cm (8 inch) tart tin.
  3. In a large bowl, melt the butter completely. Add the digestive biscuits and crush until finely crumbed. Mix thoroughly until the crumbs are evenly coated in butter.
  4. Press the biscuit mixture firmly into the base of the prepared tart tin, creating an even layer.
  5. For the filling, in a separate bowl, whisk together the condensed milk, lemon juice, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  6. Pour the filling evenly over the biscuit base.
  7. In a separate bowl, crush the cornflakes into medium-sized pieces.
  8. Sprinkle the crushed cornflakes evenly over the filling.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the top is lightly golden brown.
  10. Remove from the oven and let it cool completely in the tin before chilling in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight, to allow the filling to set properly.
  11. Once set, carefully remove the tart from the tin.
