  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together: 2 cups chicken broth, 1/2 cup dry white wine (or additional chicken broth), 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley, 1 teaspoon dried thyme, 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes, and 2 bay leaves.
  6. Pour the liquid mixture into the crock pot.
  7. Cover and cook on low for 7-8 hours, or on high for 3 1/2-4 hours.
