Como fazer Grilled Steak Sandwich
- Cut 1 lb steak into 6 equal pieces (approx. 4 oz each) and sprinkle generously with 1 tbsp meat tenderizer. Pierce each piece several times with a fork.
- Lightly grease a griddle or large skillet and preheat to 400°F (200°C).
- Grill steak for 2-3 minutes per side, or until desired doneness is reached.
- Season generously with freshly ground black pepper to taste.
- While the steak grills, prepare the sauce: In a small saucepan, melt 2 tbsp butter over medium heat. Whisk in 2 tbsp all-purpose flour until smooth. Gradually whisk in 1/2 cup beef broth, 1/4 cup heavy cream, 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce, 1 tsp Dijon mustard, and 1/2 tsp salt. Bring to a simmer, stirring occasionally, until slightly thickened.
- Toast 6 slices of your favorite bread to a golden brown.
- To assemble the sandwich: Dip one side of each slice of toast quickly into the sauce using a fork.
- Top the sauced toast with a grilled steak piece.
- Spoon remaining sauce over the steak.
