  1. In a small bowl, whisk together 2 tablespoons mayonnaise, 1 tablespoon chili sauce, and 1 teaspoon prepared horseradish.
  2. Set aside.
  3. Spread one side of each slice of rye bread with butter.
  4. Generously spread the mayonnaise mixture on the other side of four slices of bread.
  5. Place 1 slice of Swiss cheese (about 1 ounce) on each of the four slices of bread, on top of the mayonnaise spread.
  6. Arrange 4-6 ounces of thinly sliced corned beef over the cheese.
  7. Top the corned beef with 1/2 cup sauerkraut.
  8. Place another slice of Swiss cheese (about 1 ounce) on top of the sauerkraut on each sandwich.
  9. Top with the remaining slices of bread, mayo-side down and butter-side up.
  10. Cook on a preheated griddle or large skillet over medium-low heat for 4-5 minutes per side, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
