How to Make Amiira S Crack Brownies
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease and flour a 9x13 inch baking dish.
- In a heavy saucepan, combine 14 oz (397g) caramels and 1/3 cup (80ml) evaporated milk.
- Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until caramels are completely melted and smooth.
- In a large bowl, combine 1 box (15.25 oz or 432g) dry cake mix, 1/2 cup (113g) melted unsalted butter, and the remaining 1/3 cup (80ml) evaporated milk.
- Stir until the dough just comes together. Do not overmix.
- Divide the dough in half.
- Press half of the dough into the prepared baking dish.
- Bake for 8-9 minutes.
- Remove from oven and sprinkle evenly with 1 cup (170g) semi-sweet chocolate chips.
- Pour the caramel mixture over the chocolate chips.
- Crumble the remaining dough evenly over the caramel layer.
- Bake for an additional 20 minutes, or until the edges are set and the center is slightly gooey.
- Remove from oven and let cool completely in the pan for at least 15 minutes before cutting.
- Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving. Store refrigerated to maintain gooey texture.
