How to Make Baker S Chocolate Caramel Bars

- In a medium saucepan, melt 14 ounces (397g) caramels and 1/2 cup (120ml) evaporated milk over low heat, stirring constantly until smooth. Alternatively, microwave on medium power for 5 minutes, stirring every minute until smooth.
- In a large bowl, combine 1 1/2 cups (190g) all-purpose flour, 1 1/2 cups (150g) rolled oats, 1 cup (200g) packed light brown sugar, 1 teaspoon baking soda, and 1/2 teaspoon salt.
