How to Make Apple Butterflies

  1. Spread 2 tablespoons of peanut butter onto the center of each of 4 individual plates.
  2. Shape each mound of peanut butter into an oblong shape approximately 2 inches long and 1 inch wide.
  3. Place 1 small carrot (about 4 inches long) down the center of each peanut butter mound.
  4. Cut 1 medium apple into quarters.
  5. Remove the core from each apple quarter.
  6. Cut each apple quarter into 7 thin slices (about 1/8 inch thick).
