How to Make Arizona Casserole
- Brown 1 lb of ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Drain off any excess grease.
- In a large bowl, combine the browned ground beef with 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup, 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup, and 1/2 cup milk. Mix well.
- Pour the beef and soup mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Spread evenly.
- Sprinkle 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese over the beef mixture.
- Arrange a single layer of 30-36 tater tots evenly over the cheese. (You can use more or fewer depending on your preference and the size of your tater tots).
- Sprinkle 1/2 cup of shredded cheddar cheese over the tater tots.
- Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 30-35 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy, and the casserole is heated through.
