Ingredients for Bbq Or Griddled Peaches
- 4 ripe peaches, halved and pitted
- Maple Syrup
- Light Olive Oil
- Pecan Nuts
How to Make Bbq Or Griddled Peaches
- Preheat your grill, griddle, or frying pan to medium-low heat. If using a BBQ, place aluminum foil or a disposable aluminum tray on the grates to prevent sticking.
- Wash and halve your peaches. Remove the pits.
- If desired, brush the cut sides of the peaches with melted butter or a little olive oil.
- Place the peach halves cut-side down on the preheated surface.
- Cook for 5-7 minutes per side, or until the peaches are tender and have developed nice grill marks (if using a grill or griddle). If using a frying pan, reduce the heat as needed to avoid burning.
- Remove the peaches from the heat and let them cool slightly.
- Serve warm, topped with your favorite additions (see variations below). Enjoy!
- Variations: Add a scoop of vanilla ice cream, a drizzle of honey or maple syrup, a sprinkle of cinnamon, or a dollop of whipped cream.
Chef's Tip for Extra Flavor
Small additions can make a big impact! Try a sprinkle of fresh herbs, a dash of your favorite spice blend, or a squeeze of citrus just before serving to really enhance the flavors of your dish.
