How to Make Cheerios Bars
- Line an 8x8 inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on the sides for easy removal.
- In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine 1/2 cup (113g) of peanut butter and 1/2 cup (100g) of maple syrup.
- Stir constantly until the peanut butter and syrup are completely melted and smooth. Remove from heat.
- Add 3 cups (75g) of Cheerios cereal to the peanut butter mixture and stir gently until the cereal is evenly coated.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared 8x8 inch baking pan and press firmly and evenly into the pan using the back of a spoon or spatula.
- Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the bars to set completely before cutting into squares.
- Lift the bars out of the pan using the parchment paper overhang and cut into 16 squares.
