How to Make Chocolate Eggnog Swirl Pie

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare your pie crust (either homemade or store-bought). Press into a 9-inch pie plate and bake for 10 minutes. Let cool completely.
  3. In a medium saucepan, whisk together the eggnog, sugar, cornstarch, and salt. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens and comes to a simmer (about 5-7 minutes).
  4. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract and 1/2 of the melted chocolate. Set aside to cool slightly.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together the heavy cream and powdered sugar until stiff peaks form.
  6. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cooled eggnog mixture.
  7. In another bowl, melt the remaining chocolate.
  8. Layer half of the eggnog mixture into the cooled pie crust. Drizzle half of the melted chocolate over the eggnog layer. Repeat with the remaining eggnog mixture and chocolate. Gently swirl the chocolate and eggnog with a knife or toothpick for a marbled effect.
  9. Cover the pie and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight, to allow the flavors to meld and the pie to set completely.
  10. Serve chilled and enjoy!
