How to Make Chocolate Peanut Butter Bacon Pie

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook bacon in the microwave for 3 minutes, or until crispy. Drain on paper towels and chop into small pieces. Set aside.
  3. In a medium bowl, combine melted butter and crushed cookies. Press mixture into the pie plate and bake for 8-12 minutes, or until lightly golden. Let cool completely.
  4. In a 2-quart saucepan, heat milk and 3/4 cup granulated sugar over medium heat. Add chocolate chips and stir until melted and smooth. Stir in vanilla extract. Let cool completely.
  5. In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Gradually add heavy whipping cream and beat until fluffy. Stir in peanut butter.
  6. Spread 1 cup of chocolate sauce evenly over the cooled crust and up the sides. Sprinkle 1/3 of the chopped bacon over the chocolate.
  7. Pour the peanut butter cream mixture into the crust over the chocolate and bacon.
  8. Spread 1/2 of the remaining chocolate sauce over the creamy layer. Sprinkle with 1/2 of the remaining bacon bits.
  9. In a separate bowl, whip 1 cup heavy cream with cream of tartar and powdered sugar until stiff peaks form. Spread over the pie and pipe decorative edges. Sprinkle with remaining bacon bits and pipe chocolate sauce in circles.
  10. Lightly drag a knife back and forth across the whipped cream to create a web design. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
