How to Make Crunchy Cheese And Herb Pull Apart Bread

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 10-inch angel food cake pan.
  2. In a large bowl, combine softened butter, garlic powder, onion powder, dried herbs, and salt. Mix well.
  3. Add shredded cheddar cheese and Parmesan cheese to the butter mixture. Mix until combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and sugar. Gradually add to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Do not overmix.
  5. Gently fold in the chopped green onions.
  6. Place half of the dough into the prepared pan. Spread evenly.
  7. Top with half of the shredded mozzarella cheese.
  8. Place the remaining dough on top of the cheese. Spread evenly.
  9. Top with the remaining mozzarella cheese.
  10. Bake for 60-75 minutes, or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  11. Let cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes before inverting onto a wire rack to cool completely.
  12. Slice and serve warm, or freeze for later. To reheat, simply toast slices until golden brown and warm
