Ingredients for Easy Christmas Mint Oreo Cookie Bark

  • Mint Flavored Creme Filled Chocolate Sandwich Cookies
  • 24 ounces white chocolate chips
  • Pecans

How to Make Easy Christmas Mint Oreo Cookie Bark

  1. Line a 10 x 15-inch jelly-roll pan with wax paper and spray generously with cooking spray.
  2. In a large bowl, coarsely crush 1 package (16 oz) of mint Oreos. Gently stir in 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional).
  3. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt 12 ounces of white chocolate chips in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth. (Alternatively, melt in a double boiler).
  4. Remove melted chocolate from the microwave and immediately fold it into the crushed Oreos and nuts.
  5. Quickly pour and spread half of the mixture onto one end of the prepared jelly-roll pan, creating an even layer.
  6. Repeat steps 2-5 with the remaining 1 package (16 oz) of mint Oreos, 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional), and 12 ounces of white chocolate chips.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or until the bark is completely set.
  8. Once set, carefully peel the bark from the wax paper.
  9. Break the bark into pieces and store in an airtight container at room temperature.

Chef's Tip for Extra Flavor

Want to unlock deeper, more complex flavors? Try toasting your whole spices before grinding them, or blooming ground spices in a little warm oil to enhance their aroma. Deglazing your pan with a bit of stock, wine, or even water after browning ingredients can capture those tasty caramelized bits, adding richness to your dish.
