How to Make Easy Pumpkin Flan
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a blender, combine condensed milk, evaporated milk, pumpkin puree, eggs, pumpkin pie spice, and salt. Blend until completely smooth.
- Caramelize sugar in a 9-inch flan pan or baking dish over medium heat. Swirl to coat the bottom evenly. Let it cool slightly.
- Pour the flan mixture over the caramelized sugar in the pan.
- Place the flan pan in a larger baking dish. Pour enough hot water into the larger dish to come halfway up the sides of the flan pan (this creates a water bath).
- Bake for 55 minutes, or until the flan is set around the edges but still slightly jiggly in the center.
- Remove from oven and let cool completely on a wire rack. Once cool, cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight, to allow the flavors to meld and the flan to set completely.
- To serve, run a thin knife around the edge of the flan to loosen it. Invert onto a serving plate. Enjoy!
