Ingredients for Almond Graham Squares

  • Nonstick Cooking Spray
  • 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
  • Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • Sliced Almonds

How to Make Almond Graham Squares

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Line an 8x8 inch baking pan with foil, leaving an overhang on the sides for easy removal. Grease the foil with cooking spray.
  3. In a medium bowl, combine 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs, 1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk, and ¼ teaspoon salt. Stir until evenly moistened.
  4. Stir in 1 ½ cups sliced almonds.
  5. Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared pan. Sprinkle the remaining ½ cup sliced almonds over the top and gently pat down.
  6. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Let the bars cool completely in the pan on a wire rack.
  8. Lift the bars out of the pan using the foil overhang.
  9. Peel off the foil and cut into 16 squares using a serrated knife.
  10. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 4-5 days.

Chef's Tip for Extra Flavor

Want to unlock deeper, more complex flavors? Try toasting your whole spices before grinding them, or blooming ground spices in a little warm oil to enhance their aroma. Deglazing your pan with a bit of stock, wine, or even water after browning ingredients can capture those tasty caramelized bits, adding richness to your dish.
