How to Make Honey Sesame Bites

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F/Gas Mark 4).
  2. Grease an 8-inch square baking pan and line it with parchment paper.
  3. In a small saucepan, melt 6 ounces (170g) of butter, 1/2 cup (100g) of honey, and 1/2 cup (100g) of granulated sugar over low heat, stirring until the sugar is completely dissolved.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in the remaining ingredients (see below). Mix well to combine.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly with the back of a spoon.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until golden brown and set.
  7. Let the Honey Sesame Bites cool completely in the pan before attempting to lift or cut them. They will set and become easier to handle once cold.
  8. Once cooled, carefully lift the bites out of the pan and cut into squares.
