How to Make Jessgarfield's Milo Biscuits

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Grease two large baking trays with butter or line with baking paper.
  3. In a large bowl, cream together 125g softened butter, 75g caster sugar, and 50g brown sugar using an electric mixer until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in 1 large egg until well combined.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together 250g plain flour and 50g Milo powder.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
  7. Gently fold in 50g of Milo cereal pieces.
  8. Roll heaped teaspoons of the mixture into balls (approximately 1.5 inches in diameter) and place them onto the prepared baking trays, leaving about 4cm (1.5 inches) between each biscuit.
  9. Gently flatten each ball slightly with a fork.
  10. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown around the edges.
  11. Remove from the oven and leave to cool on the baking trays for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
  12. Serve warm or at room temperature with a cup of Milo – enjoy!
