How to Make Jessgarfield's Milo Biscuits
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Grease two large baking trays with butter or line with baking paper.
- In a large bowl, cream together 125g softened butter, 75g caster sugar, and 50g brown sugar using an electric mixer until light and fluffy.
- Beat in 1 large egg until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together 250g plain flour and 50g Milo powder.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
- Gently fold in 50g of Milo cereal pieces.
- Roll heaped teaspoons of the mixture into balls (approximately 1.5 inches in diameter) and place them onto the prepared baking trays, leaving about 4cm (1.5 inches) between each biscuit.
- Gently flatten each ball slightly with a fork.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown around the edges.
- Remove from the oven and leave to cool on the baking trays for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Serve warm or at room temperature with a cup of Milo – enjoy!
