How to Make Lime Tea Punch

  1. Steep 8 black tea bags in 1 liter of freshly boiled water for 5 minutes. Remove tea bags and let the tea cool slightly.
  2. Add the juice of 6 limes (about 120ml) to the cooled tea, stirring gently.
  3. In a separate saucepan, combine 300g granulated sugar with 200ml water. Stir over low heat until the sugar dissolves completely.
  4. Bring the sugar syrup to a boil and continue boiling for 3 minutes without stirring. Remove from heat and let cool completely.
  5. Once the sugar syrup and tea mixture are both cool, combine them in a large pitcher.
  6. Refrigerate the tea punch for at least 2 hours to allow the flavors to meld. For best results, chill overnight.
  7. Just before serving, add 500ml of chilled lemonade to the punch. Stir gently to combine.
  8. Garnish with lime wedges and fresh mint sprigs before serving. Enjoy!
