Ingredients for Mango Float

  • Mangoes
  • Heavy Cream
  • 1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
  • Mango
  • Vanilla Extract
  • Graham Cracker
  • Cashew Nuts
  • Maraschino Cherry

How to Make Mango Float

  1. In a chilled mixing bowl, beat the heavy cream until soft peaks form. Gradually add the sweetened condensed milk while continuing to beat until stiff peaks form.
  2. Gently fold in the mashed mango and vanilla extract until just combined.
  3. Refrigerate the cream mixture for at least 30 minutes to allow it to chill and thicken.
  4. Line the bottom of a 9x9 inch or 9x13 inch transparent dish with a layer of graham crackers.
  5. Spread one-third of the chilled cream mixture evenly over the graham crackers.
  6. Arrange half of the mango slices over the cream layer.
  7. Repeat layers with graham crackers, cream mixture, and remaining mango slices. End with a layer of cream mixture on top.
  8. Sprinkle with chopped nuts (optional).
  9. Garnish with additional mango slices and/or maraschino cherries.
  10. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight, before serving to allow flavors to meld and the dessert to set completely.

Chef's Tip for Extra Flavor

Elevate your dish with simple flavor boosters! A final flourish of freshly chopped herbs can add incredible brightness, while a squeeze of lemon or lime juice right before serving can awaken all the flavors. Don't underestimate a sprinkle of quality finishing salt or a drizzle of good olive oil to make your creation shine.
