How to Make Minty Strawberry Lemonade

  1. In a large pitcher, combine 1 cup of fresh lemon juice, 1 cup of granulated sugar, and 4 cups of cold water.
  2. Stir vigorously until the sugar is completely dissolved.
  3. Refrigerate the lemonade for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  4. While the lemonade chills, prepare the ice cubes: Hull and slice 16 fresh strawberries. Pick 16 fresh mint leaves.
  5. Place one strawberry slice and one mint leaf into each compartment of a 16-cube ice tray.
  6. Gently pour 1 to 1 1/2 cups of the chilled lemonade into the ice tray, filling each compartment.
  7. Freeze for at least 4 hours, or until solid.
  8. To serve, place 4 mint-strawberry ice cubes in each glass. Top with chilled lemonade and enjoy!
  9. Garnish with extra mint sprigs and strawberry slices if desired.
