How to Make Ninfa's Flan

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a blender, combine the condensed milk, evaporated milk, eggs, vanilla extract, and cream of tartar. Blend until completely smooth and frothy.
  3. Pour the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve into a large bowl to remove any lumps.
  4. Carefully pour the flan mixture into your prepared caramel-lined ramekins or baking dish.
