How to Make Rainbow Jello
- Prepare your chosen Jello flavors according to package directions, but set aside 1 box of lemon Jello for step 2.
- In a medium bowl, combine the first (3 oz) package of lemon Jello with 3/4 cup of boiling water. Stir until completely dissolved.
- Add 3/4 cup of cold water and stir until well combined.
- Pour the lemon Jello mixture into a 9x13 inch baking dish or Tupperware container. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or until slightly set.
- In a separate bowl, combine the second (3 oz) package of lemon Jello with 3/4 cup of boiling water. Stir until dissolved. Let it cool slightly (about 5-10 minutes).
- Add 3/4 cup of evaporated milk to the cooled lemon Jello mixture and stir well.
- Carefully pour the lemon-milk Jello mixture over the first layer in the baking dish. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or until slightly set.
- Repeat steps 5-7 with your remaining Jello flavors, allowing each layer to set slightly before adding the next. (Allowing at least 30 minutes between layers is recommended.)
- Once all layers are added, refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until completely set.
- Cut into squares and serve. Enjoy your Rainbow Jello Delight!
