How to Make Rter Med Flsk Pea Soup With Pork
- Rinse 1 cup dried split peas and soak in 4 cups cold water overnight.
- Drain the soaked peas and place them in a large pot or Dutch oven. Add 3 quarts of fresh water.
- Bring to a boil over high heat. Once boiling, reduce heat to medium-low, partially cover, and simmer for 1 hour, skimming off any foam or skins that rise to the surface.
