How to Make Tropical 7 Layer Twist Bars

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Place 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter in a 9x13 inch baking pan and place in the preheating oven to melt.
  3. Crush 1 ½ cups graham crackers into fine crumbs using a rolling pin or food processor.
  4. Remove the melted butter from the oven. Pour graham cracker crumbs over the melted butter and toss to combine until all butter is absorbed.
  5. Press crumb mixture firmly into the bottom of the pan to create the crust.
  6. Evenly sprinkle ½ cup white chocolate chips, ½ cup macadamia nuts, and 1 cup crushed pineapple over the crust. Press down lightly.
  7. Pour half of a (14 ounce) can of sweetened condensed milk over the layer.
  8. Sprinkle 1 cup sweetened shredded coconut over the condensed milk, pressing down slightly. Pour the remaining condensed milk over the top.
  9. Bake for 30 minutes, or until the top is lightly golden brown.
  10. Let the bars cool completely before cutting to allow the layers to set.
  11. Optional: Drizzle melted white chocolate chips over the top after cooling.
