Zubereitung von Juicy Roast Turkey

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C). Remove neck, giblets, and tail from the turkey. Remove any plastic parts.

  10. Continue roasting, basting with pan drippings every 30 minutes and rotating the pan occasionally for even browning. Roast until a meat thermometer inserted into the thickest part of the thigh registers 170°F (77°C) - approximately another 2-2.5 hours.
  11. Transfer the turkey to a carving board, tent loosely with foil, and let rest for 20-30 minutes before carving. Remove trussing strings before carving.
