- In a large saucepan, combine 1 cup peanut butter (or pea butter), 1 cup corn syrup (or honey), 1/2 cup packed brown sugar, 1/4 cup milk, 1/4 cup butter, and 1/2 teaspoon salt.
- Stir frequently over medium heat until the mixture is completely melted and smooth, about 5-7 minutes.
- Remove from heat and stir in 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.
- Add 2 cups rolled oats, 1 cup chopped nuts (almonds, peanuts, cashews – your choice!), 1/2 cup dried cranberries (or other dried fruit), and 1/2 cup chocolate chips.
- Stir vigorously with a large wooden spoon until all the ingredients are evenly coated in the peanut butter mixture.
- Pour the mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking pan.
