  14. Repeat procedure with remaining flour mixture
  15. Add guinness stout, and beat just until combined
  16. Scrape batter into prepared pan
  17. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean
  18. Cool in pan on a wire rack for 10 minutes
  19. Remove from pan
  20. Cool completely
  21. Spread cake with whipped topping
  22. Cut into 8 wedges
