How to Make Apple Pecan Triangles

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the sliced apples, pecans, brown sugar, flour, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Toss gently to coat.
  3. Stir in the melted butter.
  4. Unroll one pie crust on a lightly floured surface. Cut the crust into 8 triangles.
  5. Spoon about 2 tablespoons of the apple pecan mixture onto the wide end of each triangle.
  6. Fold the wide end of the triangle over the filling, and press the edges to seal.
  7. Place the triangles on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Brush the tops of the triangles with the beaten egg and sprinkle with turbinado sugar, if desired.
  9. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.
  10. Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy!
