Ingredients for Apple Pie Egg Roll

  • 3 medium apples (peeled, cored, and diced)
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Egg Roll Wraps
  • Vegetable oil, for frying

How to Make Apple Pie Egg Roll

  1. In a medium bowl, combine 3 medium apples (peeled, cored, and diced), 1/2 cup granulated sugar, 1/4 cup all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon, and 1 tablespoon lemon juice.
  2. Mix thoroughly until apples are evenly coated.
  3. Lay egg roll wrappers on a clean surface. Place 2 heaping tablespoons of the apple filling in the center of each wrapper.
  4. Fold in the sides of the wrapper, then tightly roll from the bottom up, tucking in the ends to secure.
  5. Use a small amount of water to seal the edges of the egg roll wrapper.
  6. Preheat vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C) in a large skillet or deep fryer.
  7. Carefully add egg rolls to the hot oil, frying in batches to avoid overcrowding. Fry for 4-5 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy, turning occasionally for even cooking.
  8. Remove egg rolls from oil and place on a wire rack to drain excess oil.
  9. Sprinkle with powdered sugar while still warm and serve immediately. Enjoy!

Chef's Tip for Extra Flavor

Small additions can make a big impact! Try a sprinkle of fresh herbs, a dash of your favorite spice blend, or a squeeze of citrus just before serving to really enhance the flavors of your dish.
