How to Make B S Taco Dip Meatless
- In a medium bowl, microwave 8 ounces of cream cheese until softened (about 30 seconds).
- Add 1 cup of sour cream and 1 packet (1 ounce) of taco seasoning mix to the softened cream cheese.
- Thoroughly blend the mixture until smooth. An electric mixer is recommended, but you can also stir it manually.
- Spread the mixture evenly into a 9x13 inch baking dish.
- Pour 1/2 cup of your favorite taco sauce over the top, spreading it thinly with the back of a spoon to cover the entire mixture.
- Top with your desired ingredients. A suggested layering is: 1 cup shredded lettuce, 1/2 cup chopped tomatoes, 1/2 cup chopped onions, and 1 cup shredded cheese.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 15-20 minutes, or until heated through and cheese is melted and bubbly.
