- Fresh Cranberries
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- Ground Cinnamon
- Orange Marmalade
- Fresh Lemon Juice
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
How to Make Baked Cranberry Sauce
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Wash and drain 12 ounces of fresh cranberries. Place them in a large bowl.
- In a separate bowl, combine 1 cup of granulated sugar and 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon.
- Add the sugar and cinnamon mixture to the cranberries. Gently toss to coat.
- Spoon the cranberry mixture into a greased 9-inch square baking dish. Cover tightly with aluminum foil.
- Bake for 45 minutes, or until the cranberries have burst and the sauce has thickened.
- Remove from oven and let cool slightly. Stir in 1/2 cup of orange marmalade, 2 tablespoons of lemon juice, and 1/2 cup of chopped walnuts.
- Allow to cool completely before storing in an airtight container in the refrigerator. The flavors will meld beautifully overnight!
