- 1 pound Italian sausage
- 2 pounds potatoes, peeled and cubed

How to Make Baked Sausage Potatoes And Cheese
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add 1 pound of sausage (Italian sausage recommended) and brown on both sides, about 5-7 minutes per side.
- Remove sausage and place on paper towels to drain excess grease.
- Spray a 9x13 inch baking dish with cooking spray.
- Place browned sausage in the prepared baking dish.
- In the same skillet, add 1 tablespoon of olive oil (more if needed).
- Add 2 pounds of potatoes, peeled and cubed, and brown on all sides, about 8-10 minutes.
- Remove potatoes and place on paper towels to drain excess grease.
- Arrange the browned potatoes on top of the sausage in the baking dish.
- Bake for 30-40 minutes, or until potatoes are tender, checking frequently to prevent burning.
- Remove from oven and top with 2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese (or your favorite cheese).
- Return to oven and bake for another 5-7 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Let stand for 5 minutes before serving and enjoy!
