How to Make Balsamic Reduction Sauce
- In a small saucepan, combine 1 cup balsamic vinegar and 1/4 cup maple syrup.

- Reduce heat to low, and simmer gently for 20-30 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce has thickened and reduced to about 1/2 cup. The sauce should coat the back of a spoon.
- Remove from heat and let cool slightly. The sauce will continue to thicken as it cools.
