How to Make Bbq Less Country Style Pork Ribs
- Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C).
- Coat a 9x13 inch baking dish with 1 tablespoon sesame oil. Sprinkle with 1/2 of a medium yellow onion, thinly sliced.
- In a small bowl, mash 4 cloves of garlic. Smear the mashed garlic evenly over the ribs.
- Place the ribs on top of the onions in the prepared baking dish.
- Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 of the thinly sliced yellow onion and 2 tablespoons of soy sauce over the ribs.
- Pour about 1/4 inch of water into the bottom of the baking dish.
- Bake for 1 hour and 35-2 hours, or until the meat is crisped on top and pulls away easily from the bone with a fork.
- Optional: For added flavor, stir in 1 tablespoon sesame seeds, 1 teaspoon ground ginger, a few dashes of Tabasco sauce, and 1 teaspoon of honey during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
- Optional: For extra heat, add 1-2 teaspoons of red pepper flakes and 1 teaspoon of sweet smoked paprika during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
