How to Make Chocolate Chocolate Cake Bundt Cake
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Generously grease and flour a 9 ¾ x 3 ⅜ inch fluted bundt pan, or spray with non-stick cooking spray.
- In a medium saucepan over medium-low heat, melt 1 ½ cups semi-sweet chocolate chips and ½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, stirring constantly until smooth and melted.
- Pour the melted chocolate mixture into a large mixing bowl. Add 1 ¾ cups granulated sugar.
- Beat with an electric mixer until well combined.
- Beat in 3 large eggs one at a time, then stir in 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together 2 cups all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon baking soda, and ½ teaspoon salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with 1 cup buttermilk, beginning and ending with the dry ingredients. Mix until just combined.
- Stir in the remaining ½ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips.
- Pour batter into the prepared bundt pan and bake for 50-55 minutes, or until a wooden skewer inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes before inverting it onto a wire rack to cool completely.
- Once completely cool, drizzle with your favorite orange chocolate glaze (see recipe #132005).
