Cómo preparar High Fiber Oat Bar

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9x13 inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on the sides to lift the bars out later.
  2. In a large bowl, combine 2 cups rolled oats, 1/2 cup wheat germ, and 1/2 cup sunflower seeds.
  3. Spread the oat mixture evenly onto a baking sheet. Bake for 15 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes, until lightly toasted.
  4. While the oats are toasting, combine 1/2 cup honey, 1/2 cup packed brown sugar, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, and 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
  5. Stir frequently until the butter and sugars are completely melted and smooth.
  6. Remove the toasted oat mixture from the oven and add it to the melted honey mixture. Stir well to combine.
  7. Stir in 1 cup Fiber One cereal until evenly distributed.
  8. Pour the oat mixture into the prepared 9x13 inch baking pan.
