Ingredients for 5 Tacos
- Ground Beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- Taco Shells
- 1/4 cup shredded lettuce
- 1/2 cup chopped tomatoes
- Onion
- 2 tablespoons salsa
- Cheddar Cheese
- 2 corn cobs (optional)
How to Make 5 Tacos
- Brown 1 lb ground beef (or your preferred protein) in a large skillet over medium-high heat, breaking it up with a spoon. Drain off any excess grease.
- Stir in 1 packet taco seasoning and 1/2 cup water. Bring to a simmer, reduce heat, and cook for 5-7 minutes, or until the meat is cooked through and the sauce has thickened slightly.
- Warm 5 corn or flour tortillas according to package directions. You can heat them in a dry skillet, microwave, or oven.
- Fill each tortilla with approximately 1/5 of the seasoned meat.
- Top with your favorite fixings! We suggest: 1/2 cup chopped tomatoes, 1/4 cup chopped onions, 1/4 cup shredded lettuce, 2 tablespoons salsa, and 1/4 cup shredded cheese.
- (Optional) Boil 2 corn cobs for 5-7 minutes, then cut into halves or smaller pieces for a delicious side.
Chef's Tip for Extra Flavor
Small additions can make a big impact! Try a sprinkle of fresh herbs, a dash of your favorite spice blend, or a squeeze of citrus just before serving to really enhance the flavors of your dish.
