How to Make Acorn Squash And Apple Mash
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cut one medium acorn squash in half lengthwise and remove seeds.
- Place acorn squash halves, cut-side up, in a baking dish.
- Place 1 medium apple, peeled, cored, and chopped into 1/2 inch pieces into the cavity of each squash half.
- Sprinkle each squash half with 1 tablespoon brown sugar and 1 teaspoon honey.
- Dot 1 tablespoon of butter on top of each squash half.
- Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the squash is easily pierced with a fork.
- Remove from oven and let cool slightly.
