- 2 large eggs

- Pillsbury Refrigerated Crescent Dinner Rolls
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2-4 tablespoons milk (for glaze consistency)
- Candy Sprinkles
How to Make Almond Crescent Puffs
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a large baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray.
- In a medium saucepan, combine 1/2 cup (1 stick) margarine and 1/2 cup water.
- Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly.
- Remove from heat and add 1 cup all-purpose flour all at once. Stir vigorously until a smooth ball forms.
- Return the saucepan to low heat and cook, stirring constantly, for 1 minute to cook out any raw flour taste.
- Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- Beat in 2 large eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition until the mixture is smooth and glossy.
- Stir in 1 teaspoon of almond extract.
- Unroll the crescent roll dough into 4 rectangles. Firmly press the perforations to seal.
- Cut each rectangle in half lengthwise, then make 3 crosswise cuts in each half to create 32 pieces.
- Place the dough pieces 1 inch apart on the prepared baking sheet.
- Spoon 2 rounded teaspoons of the almond filling onto each dough piece, spreading it slightly.
- Bake for 16-18 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed.
- Remove from the oven and let cool on the baking sheet for 20 minutes, or until completely cool.
- While the puffs cool, prepare the glaze: In a small bowl, whisk together 1 cup powdered sugar with 2-4 tablespoons of milk until smooth and desired consistency is reached.
- Stir in 1/4 teaspoon of almond extract.
- Drizzle the glaze over the cooled puffs.
- Immediately sprinkle with sprinkles, if desired.
